Outlaw

Hard Red
Released in 2025, Outlaw is the next generation of a medium early racehorse similar to Langin with improved straw strength, better stripe rust tolerance, and improved virus resistance via cmc4 and its native tolerance to triticum mosaic. Outlaw has consistently outperformed Langin in yield, test weight, and protein accumulation. This variety is very drought tolerant and finishes well in the heat, but due to its shorter stature, post-harvest biomass to cover ground in dry years will be less compared to other varieties. PVP protected, to be sold by variety name only as a class of certified seed.
