Breck
Hard White
Released in 2017, Breck is an open market hard white variety included in the CWRF/Ardent Mills UltraGrain® Premium Program. Outside of contracting through Ardent Mills, Breck can be sold into other mills and markets. Breck has excellent test weight and lower polyphenol oxidase (PPO), providing opportunities in the Asian noodle market. Breck also offers very good yield, sprouting tolerance and very good resistance to stripe rust. PVP Protected, Certified Seed Only, Sunset June 30th, 2022 (Savable Harvest 2022).
